Richland County Inmate Mail and Services

The Richland County Jail uses TextBehind for mail management. Since June 1, 2021, all physical mail from family and friends gets photocopied. Family can also create electronic letters with photos through TextBehind.com or the mobile app. All mail is reviewed and approved by staff before inmates see it on video units. Electronic letters submitted by 11:00 AM Monday through Friday are available to inmates the same day.
